We are so honored that you have taken the time to visit our page and learn about our family. We can never truly understand what you must be going through as you make this decision for the future of your child. Our family has been blessed by adopting our son Gavin, and we have been continually amazed by the courage of his birth parents. We pray for God’s hand to be upon you – to comfort and guide you along each step of this journey. Our home is in a quiet suburban neighborhood
of a beautiful city that we love. We
like to take advantage of all of the fun things to do as a family and enjoy
visiting the zoo (the polar bears are our favorite!), attending story time at
the library, playing at the park, and
enjoying all of the great places to eat!
We love to be outside together.
In the summer, we often spend our weekends camping, boating, and making
s’mores at the lake with our friends. We
love waking up as the sun warms the tent and letting a crackling campfire and
crickets lull us to sleep.
About Brandon (by Janell)
Brandon works as a computer engineer and he loves to build things. You can often find him and Gavin working on a project around the house or figuring out how to build something that I dreamed up. His greatest joy in life though, is being Daddy. His favorite part of the day is opening the back door and seeing that little smiling face running into his arms. Shortly afterward, you can be certain that much chasing, wrestling and tickling will begin. He never shies away from offering me help and he is passionate about caring for us. I am so grateful to have him as my husband and the leader of our family.
About Janell (by Brandon)
Janell loves being a stay-at-home Mom and taking Gavin to the park, zoo, library or any other place they dream up. She is very imaginative and creative, always coming up with new crafts for them to do. She can make any situation an adventure and even the most boring of tasks fun. She loves to cook and create delicious meals from whatever she finds in the kitchen. She is always willing to help on one of the projects she has imagined or work beside Gavin and I in our yard. Janell loves to be outdoors but also enjoys sitting quietly, snuggled up with Gavin in a chair reading any number of books. I get the most joy out of watching Janell and Gavin interact with each other. Giggles and laughter are sure to follow.
Our beautiful son Gavin brings joy and laughter to our home on a regular basis. He is truly a toddler these days, and enjoys exploring the world and “helping” Mom and Dad around the house. Some of his favorite things are being outside, pestering the dogs, kisses, dancing, and raisins. Recently, many of his friends have been welcoming brothers and sisters into their families and since he loves babies he tells us often how he wants a baby brother or sister too! We have an open relationship with Gavin’s birth family and stay in touch with them regularly. It has been amazing for us to see how God has worked in all of our lives through this little bundle of laughter and energy.
We have also been blessed with a wonderful community of family and friends. Brandon’s parents live just a few minutes away and Janell’s visit to play with their grandbaby as often as they can. Gavin has two doting aunts and uncles and many more unofficial ones as well. We are also actively involved in a local church with many young families where we learn how to live out God’s love each day.
We would be honored if you might allow us the opportunity to make your baby a part of our home. The joy that we have experienced as parents is unlike anything we could have ever imagined, and we so desire the chance to open our hearts and homes to another child. We also can’t wait to see what an awesome big brother our sensitive and caring little Gavin will be. We deeply look forward to being parents to another child that we can snuggle, love, protect, and nurture until they become the vibrant and amazing individual that God has destined them to be!
